I saw an angel at work
Sometimes you have to see something to believe it. Like angels. Unfortunately, angels are adept at not being seen, yet many people believe in them. I saw an angel at work last year. No, I did not see the halo. Or the feathered wings. Or a flowing...

What Does The Bible Say About Guardian Angels
Written by: Bruce A Bussell
I have done a great deal of research on angels over the past few years. There are lots of conflicting statements. In fact, get on the Internet and do a search on "angels of the bible" You will find about 3 million results. There are almost that many different opinions on angels too. After reading books, such as Billy Graham's Angels and tearing through as much information as I can get my hands on, and then praying for guidance, I have come to some conclusions of my own. I would like to share them with you.The first has to do with guardian angels. Many people tell of instances where a guardian angel saved them from harm. I read one just the other day about a lady who was driving her car to work one morning alone when she heard a voice tell her to look in her rear view mirror. She looked up just in time to see a car coming up at her at a very fast speed. If she had not looked, she would not have had time to swerve out of the way, thus avoiding a sure fatal wreck.
From everything I can read and understand, it is possible to be helped by a guardian angel, but it is important to remember that, if you are helped by a guardian angel, they work for God.That means that God commanded that the angel help you. Your gratitude should be toward God and not the angel. The Bible makes it clear that angels do not want our gratitude. Here is a verse that proves that.
Revelation 22:8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worshipbefore the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9 Then he said to me, See thatyou do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.
God has a reason to send an angel to help. We may never know His reason, but must accept it and worship Him. As I say all the time, all the glory goes to God.But, that leads me to the next part of this newsletter. If God does use angels to protect us, shouldn't we try to contact a guardian angel? Let me say rather emphatically, NOOOOOO!
The Bible makes it clear that trying to contact angels is dangerous.
Reason - Not all angels are good. Look at this verse to understand.
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
Satan is an angel. His followers are fallen angels. If you try to contact an angel, isn't it possible that a fallen angel will come and try to lead you away from God? Always talk to God. Don't try to talk to an angel. Remember, angels are used by God. Angels can do nothing without God's will.
