The Half Way House

Jesus says in Revelation 3:16, so, then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
During church today my pastor said something so profound that I had to share it with you today. His statement was, “ He (God) is not honored by your patronizing attitude.” He was talking about how, as Christian’s Jesus does not want only part of us. He does not want us to give half of our heart He wants it all. Either you are, or you are not. There is no in between as Christians. In this world of plurality and political corrective ness, it seems to be kosher to be a Christian when it comes to certain things, but not a Christian for other issues. This is despicable in God’s site. Either you are or you are not. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Son of Man, did not die on the cross; give His life for you, so that you could be a half way Christian. You either are, or you are not. Christians it is time to take step back and ask yourself, are you, or are you not? I know this has been something that has been weighing heavy on my heart as of late. So I encourage you, step back from your busy life and be honest with God. Ask Him to reveal your heart to you and show you problem areas in your life where you need to change things. If you are honest with Him He will be honest with you and reveal your problems and show you how to correct them. It is Christ’s desire for you to be real with Him and to be honest with Him. Don’t try to hide yourself from the One who created you, He loves you and wants the best for you so give it too Him! Jesus says in Revelation 3:16, so, then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
