If you can't pinpoint specifics, take a look at the friends that you've chosen to surround yourself with, and you'll get a better idea of what types of things to look for in a mate when you realize which qualities have appealed to you through friendships. It's important to keep the Christian perspective in focus here - even more so when choosing a potential life partner.

When writing your ad, be sure to list the qualities that you have to offer to a relationship; mention hobbies and activities that you find enjoyable, be completely honest about who you are and what you're looking for in a partner (do not compromise your Christian morals or principles, even if they're not so popular in today's world) and - above and beyond all else - make it understood that you're a Christian looking for a Christian mate. This statement, alone, implies that you're abiding by the Church's expectations and that - as a good Christian - you fully intend to live by them. You don't have to appear rigid; just make yourself clear in a friendly, lighthearted way, and you'll be attracting other Christians in no time.
